I spent years searching for answers.
Nothing could cure for my chronic dissatisfaction with life. I would have done anything to squelch my heart-racing anxiety and perfectionist tendencies. But no psychologist, documentary, self-help book or mind-trick could give me the answers I was looking for. Until one day when I put everything else down and looked towards God. A God very different than who I thought He was. A God who was a friend, a father, a gentle caregiver, protector, healer, guide.
As I got to know this God, I learned that He was reliable, and that He loved me no matter what. I started to believe what He said about me in His Word. And as I learned more about my identity in Him, it all began to click. Everything I needed was already inside of me, I just had to look to the Source! We can only really know ourselves and fulfill our own destiny if we know the One who created us!
The Bible isn’t just a box to check. The Bible matters! It’s the key to understanding God’s character. And when you understand who your God is… I promise you, sister… you’ll start to see yourself in a different light!
