About Nina
Hi, I’m Nina!
I'm a wife, stepmom to a sweet 7 year old, dog mom of 2 crazy Aussies, business woman, Bible study writer, small group leader, prayer warrior, sister, daughter and friend. Whew that's a lot of things! But above ALL of those things, I am a woman made in God's image, uniquely designed to be most content in a relationship with Him (and you are too!).
But it wasn't always this way! I spent years trying to be everything to everyone - the definition of a perfectionist. I struggled with anxiety and broken relationships, determined to do things my way. I looked great on the outside - but inside, I was lost and slowly drowning. Eventually, I crashed and burned, and let me tell you, it was NOT a good look.
In 2017, my life took a sharp and unexpected turn off course. Life seemed overwhelming, scary, even hopeless. But what seemed like a rock-bottom ended up being a detour leading to the new beginning that God had in store for me. After searching for contentment and answers in all the wrong places, I finally turned to the Lord and said, "I surrender!" What came next was a painful process of letting go, healing, learning, and eventually, rebuilding.
Learning to live life God's way has not always been easy, but it has definitely been worth it!
I know what it’s like to have to start over. I know the pressure of “keeping up” appearances when inside you’re hurting and no one understands. I have gone through the difficult process of having to redefine yourself, and not even know where to begin.
I also know what it's like to find your way, pick up the pieces and begin following God. We get to experience all the good things that He promises… but there’s still that struggle to figure out how to stay grounded in your faith and balance it all!
During my own journey, God brought me many incredible women who spoke life into me, including wise counselors, spiritual mothers, pastors, and even complete strangers… I have learned so much along the way. I know that God has called me to reach out to women who are seeking the same thing. I am passionate about sharing all that I have learned along the way, so that you know that you are not alone, and there is a better way to navigate this world!
My mission here is to share my story with other women, in hope that my own experiences will encourage you to pursue a relationship with God for yourself, or deepen it, if you already have one. I have learned so much about God's grace, the beauty of second chances and the transformational power of a relationship with Jesus. I have also dug deep and invested in real, practical tools like studying God's word, prayer counseling and inner healing work that has radically changed my life and my mindset.
I am really excited to get to know you, and help you experience the freedom and confidence that comes from knowing God more deeply. Let’s do this!

My Study Guides
When I first began to learn about God, I was overwhelmed when it figuring out how to read the Bible. I joined a local church group at the suggestion of a coworker. These women were as kind as can be. But the study material was another story! I signed up for their study which used a thick study guide written by a famous author - only to find out that it was hours of homework with fill-in-the-blanks… and not much real revelation! While Christian books can be helpful, and small groups have a valuable purpose - I was looking for something different. I needed more interaction! I needed a study guide that was informative, but I was craving something that would push me to be introspective. I was learning about God for the first time, and re-learning who I was at the same time.
When a friend and I started talking about how we couldn't find any Bible studies that resonated with us amongst the vast sea of Christian reading materials - we decided to write one ourselves!
And so, these incredible study guides were born…. and I have been writing passionately ever since.
Writing about the Bible brings me joy - especially when I hear feedback from so many women about how transformative and impactful these materials are in their walks with God. The study guides are multi-week courses that walk you through specific portions of the Bible. They contain resources to help you understand, analyze and apply God's word. They can be done individually or in a facilitated group with other like-minded women (a "tribe" as we like to call it!). I'm here to help you discover who God is through reading His word and then reflect on your own beliefs. When we learn about our Creator, we begin to understand that we really were made in His image. When we believe we are made in His image, we are able to be understand ourselves, our God given gifts and our authority in Christ, and we become unstoppable! Knowing ourselves is a game changer when it comes to having successful relationships in business and in love!
