A Prayer to Remind You of God’s Strength

“On the day I cried out, You answered me and made me bold with strength in my soul.”
- Psalm 138:3

Let me be real for a moment. There have been some (ok, many!) days in my journey with God where I didn’t think I had the willpower to get out of bed and face the challenges of that day. Sometimes you wake up in the morning with all the same problems you went to sleep with… and facing them is just plain scary - or exhausting - or both. Sister, if you’re having a day like that where you feel you can’t go on, remember that you don’t need to muster up your own willpower. God tells us that in our weakness, HIS strength is made perfect. (2 Cor 12) If you’re struggling today, don’t look within yourself for the strength to keep going. Turn to the one who is the ultimate source of strength and comfort - our loving God, our Strong Tower. Love ~ Nina

Thank you Father that You are my Protector and Strong Tower. You reach out Your right arm towards me to help me. You stabilize me and bring me peace. You uphold me with your righteous, steady hands. You cover me completely, like the wings of an eagle. You are steadfast, consistent and faithful. You are the Promise Keeper, and You are never changing. You are my Hiding Place.

Thank You for welcoming me into Your family with outstretched arms. You are the trustworthy One and You are always faithful to your Word. You are always constant in my life and You see what I am going through today. Your Word reminds me that Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Today I choose to look to You, trust in You and lean on You instead of my own strength.

Establish your Word in my heart, like the roots of a tree planted in a firm foundation of Your love.
In Jesus’ name. Amen.
